Kelly Drake Systems Librarian |
For over 20 years I’ve worked in libraries, previously as the Member Services Librarian for FLO, Web Developer & Associate Director of Collections Access and Digital & Systems Librarian at Mystic Seaport Museum, and Circulation Manager at Connecticut College. A long-time proponent of Open Source systems, I served as a member of the CORAL (Open Source ERM) Steering Committee, developer of the Cost History & Reporting enhancement specification for CORAL, and as a participant in NCIP connector development between SHAREit, Koha, and Evergreen. |
Tania Fersenheim Content and Applications Manager |
I have been at FLO since 2016. Prior to FLO, I spent 10 years as head of Library Systems at Brandeis University, and before that as an implementation and support specialist for an ILS vendor. I am active in the FOLIO open source library services platform project, representing small libraries and consortia. In my spare time I like to play cards, cook, and travel. |
Paul Hoffman Software Manager |
Prior to joining FLO in 2009, I worked for several years as a Programmer Analyst at the University of Michigan’s Taubman Medical Library. I currently work from my home in southern Maine, where I live with my spouse and two young children. I am a long-time free software (open source) developer and an avid reader of dictionaries of etymology. |
Walter Stine Executive Director |
I have been the director of FLO since 2006. Prior to FLO, I worked at Northeastern University as Head of Access Services, and at Harvard University and Lotus Development Corporation as a systems librarian. In my spare time, I like to hike and cycle. I’m excited to be nearing the end of a long-term project, a complete reading of Marcel Proust’s “In Search of Lost Time”. |
Eliana Lima Library Services Assistant |
I just joined FLO (February 2018) as a Library Services Assistant. I am currently a Library & Information Sciences graduate student at Simmons College next door to the FLO office. I hope to bring my LIS skills and knowledge to work with me to help support the organization. When I'm not working I love to study Japanese, bake, and watch movies. |
