Fenway Library Organization: Resources

Resources

These resources are collaborative projects produced by our Committees and Communities of Interest. FLO facilitates several groups that discuss current topics relevant to academic libraries. Current topics include: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in Collection Development, Controlled Digital Lending, Open Educational Resources, and Information Literacy. For more information about these groups, please visit the Communities of Interest guide

Accessibility Toolkit

The FLO Accessibility Toolkit was produced by the Accessibility working group, an initiative of the FLO IDEA committee. The FLO Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Accessibility (IDEA) Committee establishes and steers IDEA goals and priorities in coordination with the FLO Board.

This LibGuide offers key resources for the FLO community related to accessibility requirements, best practices, and tools for digital access and website evaluation.

FLO Controlled Digital Lending

This Google Apps Script based CDL system was developed by FLO and Holyoke Community College. Controlled Digital Lending (CDL) is a method that allows libraries to loan print books to digital patrons in a “lend like print” fashion.

This code, accessible on GitHub, models a CDL system for Google Workspace users.
