March 30th  Demystifying Assessment Assessment is a hot topic in today’s libraries, and raises many questions regarding use and effectiveness. How can the library’s services be measured? What data should be collected? How can staff get started with keeping better assessment practices? This event can help clarify this cloud of questions.

Dennis Flanders, the Assessment and Collection Management Librarian at Lesley University will lead a presentation about how to get started with assessment and shed light on places where your library might already be collecting important data.

Follow up this presentation with a hands-on discussion led by Christina Dent, the Instruction Librarian at Emerson College. Christina will take participants through the process of defining goals and developing effective ways of measuring progress.
